“Biotechnology”
is a course that introduces students with the interdisciplinary field of
biotechnology research in the field of medical applications, agriculture and
food processing and environmental problems. The course includes understanding
of theoretical and practical aspects of main branches of biotechnology: gene
editing methods, animal and plant cell cultures, fermentation processes,
medical biotechnology, biotech manufacturing with the main focus on microbial biotechnology.
