Course content: the main reasons for the occurrence of dangerous environmental consequences of anthropogenic impact on the environment, namely: the processes and consequences of the growth of the world's population, the consequences of an increase in the consumption of food, water, mineral and other natural resources, as well as an increase in the production of various wastes, environmental pollution. Scientifically grounded principles of regulation of anthropogenic impact, organizational, legal and economic measures to prevent and reduce adverse environmental consequences. International integration of efforts to ensure environmental safety and nature protection, the concept of sustainable development and the role of various public institutions in its implementation, the role of education in ensuring sustainable development. The course is intended for graduate students. As a result of the study, students should develop skills and abilities to independently analyze global changes taking place in the world associated with a comprehensive solution to interrelated environmental, social and economic problems.
