The course is an interdisciplinary educational course that covers knowledge from related disciplines such as pharmacology, biochemistry, bioengineering, nanobiotechnology, and physiology. The goal is to introduce current important research topics in the field, and give students the key knowledge, technologies, and interdisciplinary application capabilities in the field of small-molecule drugs and nanoparticles. The topics to be covered will include the basic knowledge, the sources, innovative technologies (PROTAC, molecular glue and gRNA library screening) and their applications, clinical trial design and biostatistical analysis of new drug discovery & development. The class will be held in the form of lectures and student presentations.
